Pressure settings on A10 autoset
Pressure settings on A10 autoset
My doctor prescribed me a pressure of 7-20 H20 cm but when I looked at the clinical settings on autoset A10 my minimum pressure was set at 4 and maximum was set at 20. Why is the minimum pressure not set at 7 according to the prescription?

Seems as if your DME handed you an unconfigured machine, and did not set it up according to your prescription. I believe hat 4-20 is the factory default. Not unusual behavior for a DME.
You can either set it up yourself or take it back to them.

Re: Pressure settings on A10 autoset
As explained to me when i picked up my machine today. It starts at 4 and ramps up to at least 7 and then adjusts as needed. No need to worry

Re: Pressure settings on A10 autoset
The ramp start pressure can be adjusted in the clinical menu, as well as therapy pressure.
Many folks can not tolerate 4cm pressure as it is so low most people get that "starved for air" feeling.
To enter the clinical menu push and hold both the round selector button and the home button simultaneously for about three seconds or so, you'll see the screen change indicating access to that menu.

Re: Pressure settings on A10 autoset
I take my reported pressure off the screen, and bracket it a couple of cm. either way.
I write down my pressure (well, everything) every morning, and can change pressure to accommodate any change.
I monitor my air like I do my blood sugar, but I don't have to get stuck since I fired Crapria.
