Sleeping on air tube

Post by JoeWingrove » Fri Mar 06, 2015 6:42 pm

I have been using my machine for about 16 days and the other day I woke up in the middle of the night and discovered I had rolled over and that my air tube was under my head. Is this something I should be concerned about or is the tube built sturdy enough to handle the pressure of having your head/upper body resting on it during the night?

I woke up a few times and found me laying on the tube. It didn't do anything to the tube yet.

I didnt have any issues according to my software. I never gave it another thought.

Get a Hose Buddy - it looks like a little IV pole beside your bed and the hose gets attached to it so it doesn't get tangled up. Either that or some kind of either ceiling hook or a hose that goes back to the headboard... lots of creative options.

Happens to me sometimes with my Climate Line hose - never shown any signs of collapse.

There is a problem with this if you travel a lot on business. What do you do? I don't want anything extra to have to carry with me.

I don't believe lying on the hose would be a problem unless you pull the machine off the table. I agree with Julie about the hose buddy.

Bring along a couple of cords - you never know what you can hook up to where...

I used to use a 10 foot tube so I could run it behind the head of the bead and bring it down to my pillow. This worked well and caused a lot less tangles. I now have a heated hose and can't find a heated hose in 10' length length so I am back to tangles.

I have a swivel plant hanger screwed to the wall (it's my house)
I duck taped the small section of a casting rod to that, and hang scrunchies from the line guides.
(((If somebody wants to go night fishing, they are SOL)))
When traveling, I have used clothes pins on curtains, duck tape, or scrunchies.

Never an issue. i have a heated hose and in winter I wad up extra and enjoy the extra warmth. Occasionally I will lie on it and turn so it pulls my mask a bit and i see a leak or snore on sleepyhead, usually while getting to sleep or waking.
