Sleep monitor like Zeo?
I had a Zeo a few years ago and thought it was wonderful. I learned a great deal about my sleep patterns and was able to make necessary adjustments to get a better night's sleep. But since they went belly-up, I haven't been able to use it and wondered if anyone else has come up with a sleep monitor as accurate as the Zeo. Any recommendations? I figure the $.99 smart phone apps aren't going to cut it and I don't know if something you wear on your wrist will be as accurate as the headband was. I look forward to any feedback you all have on things you have tried.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Sleep monitor like Zeo?
I've been using the ResMed S+ monitor and have had good success with it........they cost about $150 but I got mine at Bed, Bath, and Beyond with the 20% off coupon so it ended up being around $120. I have accumulated four months of data on the system now, and as far as I can tell it seems to be very accurate. I have awoken from a dream and taken note of the time, then in the morning I look at the data and sure enough it showed me in REM state at the time that I woke. I have always had sleep latency and the machine shows the same thing.........takes a long time to fall asleep..........so, granted my observations are only anecdotal, but all the data I am getting off the machine seems to match up well with what I am experiencing with my nightly sleep patterns and experiences.
I have also been able to print out my S+ hypnogram and then correlate it to SleepyHead graphs, and learned that most of my Hypopneas are occurring in bunches during the time that the S+ is indicating I am in a REM period, which makes sense to me that I have more "events" during periods of REM sleep.

sometimes, I even look at the data.

That is a seriously cool concept. Although I don't know how much more stuff on the head and face even Darth Lady is going to be able to take.Morbius wrote:https://neuroon.com/

If you have the Bedside Model, see this thread to get it up and running: Zeo Viewer.ohwhatanight wrote:I had a Zeo a few years ago and thought it was wonderful. The mobile unit is more difficult, but some successes have been reported here.

For people using a nasal or full face mask: on the Neuroon the cut-out part for the nose seems pretty low, possibly in conflict with the top of the mask.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Re: Sleep monitor like Zeo?
As rough and sketchy as the data from my Misfit Flash is, it gives a big bang for the buck!
Of course, I bought mine when Best Buy had them for $25 at Christmas.
I never expected non-contact info to be so good!
I would consider a Resmed S+, but we're still living in a tiny house, with a micro bedroom.
No room for anything besides what's already shoehorned in.
