Re: Odd Question About CPAP Dreaming
If you are having vivid dreams while on cpap then something is not going right and you need to troubleshoot the situation. You get the vivid dreams when you get O2 deprived. If you were monitoring your blood oxygen level then you would likely see a big dip. So monitor your oxygen with a pulse oximet...

Re: Very Nervous - Doctor says stop CPAP
If you had OSA most of your adult life, I would be skeptical if you are totally cured. You may be in good condition now, but going off the machine will likely put you into a slow slide of going back into bad health. You may be able to get away with the machine for a short period of days to weeks. Yo...

Re: anyone here naturally biphasic/polyphasic?
Hey <Removed by Admin>, Do you have this fractured sleep while using cpap? Did you have the fractured sleep pattern before you started using cpap? How old were you when you started to notice your odd sleep pattern? When did you start using Cpap(age)? With this fractured sleep pattern, do you have tr...

Re: Upper/mid back pain
You might want to check into a bipap machine as they seem to make the breathing less labored. Instead of pushing air out against 12 you can push it out at say 6. Are you having apnea events/obstructions in the night and your back and rib muscles are going into overdrive to try to get you to breathe....

hey AmstaffNole,
You said your wife could remember all her dreams. Does she have sleep apnea? If you sleep soundly, you don't recall your dreams. Waking up in the middle of a dream is how you remember it.

So your 5' 8" and 190lbs and your trying to lose weight. Why? You should try eating some meat. Why don't you eat any meat? Egg protein, whey protein are a good place to start. Do you take any vitamins/supplements? Work on all the B vitamins as a place to start. Take a good quality multivitamin. Nasc...

Hey Palerider
I would love to know what I posted that set you off on your tirade.
Man up and spill your guts. Other wise quit being the <Word removed due to user policy> troll and keep your spiteful comments to yourself.

Re: Sleep apnea may contribute to kidney disease progression
I do agree the low salt V8 juice doesn't taste great but it does work for me so I put up with it. Eating high potassium foods that taste good is the way to go but its easier to drink 5oz of V8 juice.

Hey Palerider, I know you have some personal beef with me. So let me get this right. I say take common supplements which most halfway decent doctor will tell you to take. That is crazy????? No it ain't. In fact if you have sleep apnea you should definitely be taking supplements as the body will be l...

The non salted V8 juice has a lot of potassium in it. A glass of juice a couple of hours before bed is not going to hurt you. I am not sure what other foods they add potassium to.
If you take the medical grade supplements, then you have to be careful.

Hey Palerider, Back to trolling again. What's up with that anyways. Calling me a nutjob??? Yeah buddy. Those dreams can get pretty crazy. Yeah it will start nice and harmless but it turns dark. So you would have a nice blonde that you would approach. You might get close enough to touch her. Then she...

Re: oh the waiting......
Getting used to and working out the bugs of cpap treatment is the next nightmare you will face. Don't expect much help from doctors. Keep in mind a restricted nose airway aka stuffy nose will ruin your cpap dream come true. Getting used to the mask takes a while. Then its just training yourself to h...
