Re: 3 yo daughter has sleep apnea

You gotta love how people buy into the government system. If they believe in the government and it can do no wrong, they usually believe in the medical system and it can do no wrong. You can show them time and time again how the government screws with people and how the medical system screws with pe...

Re: 3 yo daughter has sleep apnea

The vaccinations are known to screw with the immune system. They are more likely to get colds and be much more allergic to things in the enviroment. So if you are following the doctors advice and getting your kids pumped up with every vaccination the doctor is pushing then you might want to rethink ...

Re: Acting Weird In My Sleep

I would say the chin strap is a bad idea. If you need to mouth breathe to get air then you want that option available. Sounds like your dreams are leaning to the fighting and combative type. You get these dreams when you are not getting enough air. Why are you not getting enough air? Well start look...

Re: Waking up and not being able to fall back asleep at night

I just got back from visiting the other ENT. He mentioned that since I don't have issues during the day that the deviated septum may not be the issue that is causing me to wake up. He suggested that I see a sleep disorder psychiatrist and go from there. The one thing I need to call and follow up wi...

Re: Waking up and not being able to fall back asleep at night

Do anything that will improve air flow through your nose. So if you can get surgery and it will improve that air flow then go for it. Cpap therapy works so much better if you can breathe through your nose. Cpap therapy where a person mouth breathes is miserable and hard to deal with. I don't know if...

Re: Connecting sleep apnea with other's deaths.

Keep in mind that with the right cock tail of prescription drugs, these can be the reasons for people dying in their sleep. Many famous celebrities have had doctors that pushed too many meds only to kill the person. Was this on purpose for someones financial gain? Who knows. Even for the no bodies t...

Re: How to know if I'm getting enough oxygen in my sleep w/ CPAP

Yeah, when you start for the night using the mask you might be able to breath fine and your sinus pathways are not swollen but after a few hours of use your nasal passages can swell up leaving you struggling to breath. At some point in your desparation to breath you start to mouth breath. Nose breat...

Re: my spo2 level decrease dramatically when I raise my arm

Don't be so obsessed with finding links to online references. You usually have to pay to access the good information. You know they limit and restrict what gets published to any of these publications. Its hard to tell how much stuff is rejected. Then you have to consider how much research is not ev...

Re: my spo2 level decrease dramatically when I raise my arm

If you hold your arm up, how long does it take for it to go numb? Going numb is a good sign of reduced blood flow. citation please... because the typical cause of going "numb" is a NERVE issue. now, if OP's hand starts appearing cyanotic, that would be a blood issue. Numbness from nerve issues are ...

Re: Cpap Insurance Claims with online Out of Network Providers

Has anybody tried making a claim in the past year 2014-2015 with an insurance company in the USA (specifically anthem)? Since they got all this new insurance in place I think they have changed their internal company procedures/rules? Since the supplier doesn't deal with insurance then it would be an...

Cpap Insurance Claims with online Out of Network Providers

If you file a claim with insurance for a cpap machine that was purchased at cpap.com, cpapsupplyusa.com or any other online and or course Out of Network supplier, does the insurance company verify that the machine was purchased with that company and will they reject the claim if they don't get a res...

Re: Can you help me become compliant?

If you can't breathe through your nose, cpap is really useless. What do doctors usually say about the difficulty breathing through the nose? Do they even get, that if you can't breathe through your nose, the cpap is useless. I don't think most of them understand that simple concept. Getting a nose j...

Re: Dream Sleep Arousal Question

I ain't no doctor. What I post is hard core straight from the horses mouth. your posts certainly come from some part of the horse. you post theories that you've come up with from somewhere, without any substantiation whatsoever, and if someone questions you, you say 'google it'. back up your 'theor...
