Now, I have to learn what my new choices in flooring are-- the carpet was 15 years old and long needed to be replaced. But I'm not in the mood to choose carpet and have workers in the house. It looks like this cold weather has worked in my favor in terms of slowing mold, etc. In the end, this is probably a very convoluted way of getting new carpet.
