So sorry for your loss. My father died on my sisters birthday. Shortly after he passed, she turned to me with tears in her eyes and said- "now dad and I share this special day together". So valentines day is even more special for the both of you. May time heal your heart and memories comfort your soul.

Thank you for letting us know. I usually just read posts and loved how devoted you were to Mike and his care. I'm glad that you were able to bring Hospice in so you and your family could concentrate on spending quality time with Mike these last several months.

God's peace be with you.

Hugs from me, and licks from tacopup.

Sounds like it was his time and he's at peace now. It always hurts those of us left behind, though.

My prayers go out to you for strength and healing.

Be comforted. Mike's troubles are over!

He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.…

Dori,

I am so sorry for your loss. Though I have never met you or Mike, through our online experience together I feel like I knew you both. Your journey with Mike through all of the health challenges, including all of the XPAP difficulties and efforts to provide Mike with the best treatment possible, have been shared with us, your online family. Your love and devotion to Mike has made a big impact on me personally and those I love in my life.

You have been a selfless and strong warrior for your husband, an example for others to follow in similar situations and experiences. Though your personal loss can never be fully understood by all of your family, friends, and supporters, we are one in our devotion and support of you as you continue in this life journey. I feel without any doubt that Mike has moved into the next part of the life, continuing on the journey we all will take, and is preparing the way for those who will follow.

May God give you comfort and strength as you move ahead and continue on the path he has set before you. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as life continues in spite of your loss. I feel unmistakably in my heart that Mike would want you to be happy and live life to the fullest, all-the-while as he waits for you to be reunited and once again walk hand in hand through eternity.

With love in my heart through Christ Jesus our Lord,

John

Dori,

Mike was blessed by your presence and undying attention to his needs. Please take care of yourself and allow time to help you heal.
Please know that you are in my prayers as you go through this very tough time. God is there holding you in the palm of His hand.

Hugs,
Karen
