Bubbles escaping from closed mouth during sleep.

Post by riverdwell » Fri Feb 27, 2015 11:23 am

I don't use a CPAP and never have. The air bubbles escaping from my closed mouth began fairly recently. I had a molar extracted, perhaps a year ago. I began using an adjustable chin/head strap to keep my mouth closed also, probably a few months after the molar extraction. Cotton mouth was severe. It does seem all these incidents happened at or around the same time, except for the air bubbles which I first noticed a month or two ago. The molar extraction caused a lost of pain in my left upper jar, but which has subsided since. I can still feel a slight pain when I work my jar a certain way. My weight has not changed. To simplify:
1. Molar extraction.
2. Chin strap to hold mouth closed.
3. Air bubbles.
I am female, age 75.

So...is there a question, or was this just an observation to be passed on?
