Re: does nasal pillow change size and shape of your nose?

My guess: pillows have less effect than a picking finger.

Please PM me, or reply in forum.

Re: BCBS/FL cpaper

I've been told that I need to know the HCPCS codes for replacement supplies before BCBSNE will tell me how often I can get them covered. The lookups I have found are impossible to decipher. Is there a CPAP only list that I can reference? Please? I need to know the codes for Mirage FX small pillows, ...

Re: OT! Sooooooooo.......

My brother's grandkids play hockey. The grandson is a referee, and gets PAID.
His sister plays with a vengeance atypical of a cute little girl.
My brother's ringtone is "Me like Hockey"--i forget the artist/title. . .

Re: Mirage Swift Fx

If anyone is listening out there, the one really good thing about the Mirage Micro is the air vent, which pushes the air out in a cone shape. That would be really nice on the FX. My poor husband would really appreciate it--and it's nice and quiet. Hey, ResMed! even the best can be better; and you co...

Re: Hybrid/Liberty comparison, please

I guess I need to rephrase the question: I tried the Liberty (small cushions), and it fit uh, OK, except the cushion in front of my chin stands out too far and doesn't seal well. Is there any possibility that the Hybrid might work better with a little bitty chinny? I'd also be curious about the head...

Re: I want to scream!

If your insurance is through your employer, there should be a person in the Personnel department who you could 'sic' on somebody. Our benefits manager at the county can really lay into insurance folks who are just jerking us around. We worked him a lot when we had United Healthcare. He is a honey.

Re: Discussion of Small Jaws as Cause of Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Hey, Rooster; here's a plan: Has anyone attempted to put together a database of 3D facial images or dimensioned wire frame renderings to enhance the inadequate data now being used by mask manufacturers? It would seem to me that a standard template and directions would suffice to enable individuals t...

You are embarking on an adventure.
It is a beginning, not an end.
It is an opportunity to feel as good as you deserve.
Do not let anyone deny you that.

Re: Controlling mouth leaks w/o tape or glue

Socky has the right idea: Why don't the manufacturers base their mask designs on people with OSA instead of these friggin' MODELS they do use: Obviously somebody needs to get a G.D. CLUE! The wretched Quattro they sold me thinks my face is a teeter-totter. I need my sleep; and I don't have time to f...

I wear a Swift FX with 14cm h2o and EPR of 3. I'm not even aware of the pressure unless there's a leak.

Re: Hints about protecting equipment from kids

My suggestion: pack it in the case or close the bedroom door. Otherwise, the word 'NO' is effective if they know you mean it. Failing that, a bird or hamster cage (clean) with cover, and, if needed, a small padlock. How hard or easy depends on you and your kid.
