board display fonts irregularity on smart phone

I notice curious behavior when reading the board on my smart phone (Windows phone 8.1).

Sometimes the font especially of the original poster is in teeny tiny font and difficult to read and then the answers are back into a nice chunky big font that is easy to read. When checking the same post on my laptop, the fonts all look uniform with no size difference. Anybody experience this and know what it is about. It is very hard to read the small font entries - I have to expand and move the page around to read them. Then the answers usually are in large font that I can just scroll down as usual.

You're using Windows on a Mac phone... maybe readjust the display prefs, etc..?

He is using a Windows phone 8.1 Smartphone (about 2-3% of the market). No Mac involved.

When I remotely look at the forum, I use an older version of Tapatalk instead of a browser. Somewhat faster but is missing equip that user have etc..

My Chrome browser on my Android however does okay, no font funny stuff like you are talking about. Just a guess, the IE browser your phone has is not very compatible. I don't know if you have other options to try.

I use a tablet. My vision is not good enough to do the net on my smartphone.

Interesting. I took the suggestion to try a different browser on my Windows phone 8.1 and the same behavior showed up. Oddx2!
