super bowl ads

Post by herefishy » Sun Feb 01, 2015 7:20 pm

Are a lot of fun, and this one might enefit those of us who have trouble sleeping. jeffbridges.com i a site that has "sleeping tapes". Didn't listen to them, but it sounds interesting.

My husband is mad because "all natural" burger ad got pulled before airing...
I don't remember if it was Burger King or Carl Jr's...do you guys know which one I am talking about?
It's available online...that's where I saw it...pretty spicy stuff I do say...

Edit: ..it's Carl Jr's ad for their new "all natural" burger...available on you tube

the kinda annoying thing about carls jr ads is that they make a great burger, they don't have to pander to animal instincts, and presumably irritate wives and girlfriends to sell it... but, I dunno, I never have figured out californians... *lol*

I have never cared for Carl Jr burgers or Burger King or really many of those types of burgers except maybe In and Out or Steak and Shake. I don't like char broiled burgers or hot dogs but I love a good steak cooked over a fire. I know..I am weird.
Carl Jr made a conscious decision to sell "sex" in their ads with the skinny blondes and fake tans all that. I thought it was rather stupid myself...people barely notice that the girls were eating a burger of any kind but apparently someone thought it worked well.
I watched this ad that got pulled. I didn't think it any more "offensive" than the prior ads with the skinny girls with fake tans and no boobs....at least this one had boobs to make your eyes pop out. Made me wish I was 25 again with boobs like that...oh wait...I never had boobs like that...damn it.

Funny thing about ads...they probably will get more viewing and remembering of the Carl Jr's name since they pulled the ad than they would ever have got if it aired and then faded away as ads tend to do fairly quickly.

I did notice what seemed to be an excessive amount of movement in the upper shock absorber region.... *cough*

I have to choose my words carefully lest i get another finger waggled at me for my juvenile behavior. I prolly couldn't get away with saying 'boobs'.

just look for "all natural burger" on youtube.

isn't carl's jr a cali concern?

and... it's not a dig, but after living with one for the last seven and a half years, it's just the voice of experience

or is that confusion

That's okay, a couple of local California boys just won the Super Bowl. Tom Brady and Julian Edelman are both from the SF Peninsula.

and here I thought krelvin was a reasonable, intelligent tiger... but, of course, he likely prefers his beef stampeding across the prairie so he can bring down a fresh one

they started over here, always a good reliable burger.

in and out came to town, and there was a huge 'do' about it, then after a while, the lines moved back to the whataburgers...

still haven't figured out how in and out can get by selling such horrible fries.

Greenfield's for burgers and very good fries, Runza for burgers, and real onion rings.
After all these years, I can't believe Burger King can call their wretched onion fritters --"rings"!

You can't beat a Whataburger. In Texas, they say What-r-burger. I tell my family that the only "r" in that word is at the end.... to no avail..... They just opened a Culverts close by... very good burger. The wife likes Culverts, but I'll swing by and get a good ole Whataburger.

My son and myself liked the Nissan commercial the best. Where the guy is sliding the car in all kinds of nooks and crannies...
