Resmed Aircurve VAuto

Post by sthnreb1 » Thu Jan 29, 2015 4:43 pm

Does anyone know where I could get a provider manual for the Resmed Aircurve VAuto? Or if it can be downloaded somewhere.

It looked like a good site but I couldn't find a working link for the manual.

By the way, this is the newest Resmed machine and is a bipap. I wasn't signed in when I first posted, sorry. Just got it today from a DME, Lincare and was supposed to get a provider manual too. He did show me how to enter provider mode but the manual would also be nice if I can find it.

You won't find a working download link for that clinical manual anywhere.
ResMed won't allow it to be linked to like that. You will need to request the manual via your own email...that's the only way to get it.
I have the AirSense 10 Autoset manual but not the AirCurve machines or I would send it to you.

How do you like this machine Greg? I just got it and haven't used it overnight yet. I have been using a Respironics M series bipap. This machine is relatively new on the market.

BTW... It's never a good idea to put your email address on any forum. You can edit it out anytime you like with the 'edit' button. Cool beard!

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

I like it because it works. I couldn't get the pressure high enough on cpap. Felt like Casio for about 6 months. I'm getting better now. I've had out a month. I like it

Just sent your manual

I did get the manual from Greg and from the site. Thanks. Is there a software for this machine? I saw some for the S9. I know Resmed monitors this one from myair online and it also has built in network that corresponds with them. I suppose the sleepy software works? Guessing you load the SD card to computer and add it to that software. I contacted a few online suppliers and they say according to FDA they no longer ship a clinician manual with the machines. Guess the government wants to take over everything. I said what if I need to tweak or make changes? They said have to send the machine back and have them do it. It may take 5 minutes to make changes? Wow what hoops they want folks to jump through now.

You can try SleepyHead with this machine but it may not work optimally because this machine came out after the last Sleepyhead version.
ResScan will work though..Windows only software though...send me a private message if you want ResScan.
