Whistling on exhale
Hello, I have had my CPAP for over a year now, and have had great success. I have not had to adjust the mask at all, once I got it where I liked it, and have not had any problems. However, in the last couple of weeks, I have been awakened at night, but a Whistling sound when I exhale. I breathe in a...

Resmed setup
I seem to be having trouble getting my Resmed set up , ever since summer came. It seems hard to breathe, and the air seems really hot and stifling. Not sure if I should make some setup changes , because of the humidity in the air in the house. Don't want to do anything drastic, and make it worse. Th...

Re: Trying new masks
Good morning friends. An update on my face marks...........decided to bite the bullet and purchase Pad a Cheeks for my mask. They came in and they work perfectly!! Marks gone..........Took a night or two to get used to them, but they are very comfortable, and I am pleased. I would suggest the use of...

connection
I recently ordered a Resmed Mirage FX mask, and it came to day.............however, to my dismay, it doesn't seem to connect to the hose............I have a resmed Airsense, and was using a Nason mask, but when I disconnect the Nason mask and try to connect the Mirage...............they don't couple...

Trying new masks
Hi, I have been using my CPAP since January 1, and am very pleased. However, my mask continues to leave me with marks on my face every morning, despite many small adjustments.............I called my supply house, and they wanted me to come up for a "fitting".............translation: charge me for an...

Re: Eson Nasal cushion wearing out?
I seem to sleep OK, but the report tells me that the mask was pretty leaky.......I wash the thing according to the instructions, so I can't see where that could be it........I will try to adjust the mask again, and if that doesn't work, I will change it.

Eson Nasal cushion wearing out?
I have Eson Nasal mask, and while I have been having good success, lately I am getting bad leakage numbers. I have adjusted and am wondering how long should I used the same cushion before I replace it? The company sent me replacement cushions, but I have not replaced. I have only been wearing the ma...

Re: Resmed Autoset
OK, I really feel like it is making a difference with me, I'm not sleepy at 2 in the afternoon anymore, and seem to be more ambitious. Been scoring very high on the MyAir (I think that is more of a encouragement tool than anything, however), but having relatively low AHI numbers has been encouraging...

Re: Resmed Autoset
9. It just seems like if the machine has this sort of ability, why wouldn't that be the default setting. Should I be happy with an AHI under 5, or should I be looking to get it really low?

Resmed Autoset
I have been using my machine now since January 1st, and I have made some changes to it.......I lowered the temperature in my tube, and reduced the humidity. I also changed the setting from CPAP to Autoset............I was having 9 events per hour with the thing on CPAP, and read about the Autoset fu...

Re: Stuffy nose
Hi Ranger Lady, glad to hear that things are better for you. What do you think that a liner would do for me? I think I am having some leak issues, are you suggesting that that might be contributing to my higher than desired AHI numbers?

Re: Stuffy nose
Super night last night, slept straight through, 7.3 hours, til dog got me up. I turned the temperature down, and I think (hope?) that I am really dialing this thing in. Nose not blocked, air cooler, ..................May change ramp setting as I seem to sleep better once the full air is on me. DOn't...

Re: Stuffy nose
Good morning, slept through the night, without getting up, and my nose was minimally stuffed, though somewhat irritated this morning. But if that is the worst of it, then I can deal. Since I seem to be getting close on the humidity, what about changing hose temp? Also, my AHI was a 7.5, and it avera...
