Price difference whinge

Post by mgaggie » Sat Jan 24, 2015 11:52 pm

The USB stick on my Icon has gone kaput. Looking prices in case warranty doesn't cover it. The price difference between the US and Australia for this piece of special shaped plastic are astronomical. $13 in the US and when converted the Australian price is $79USD, even with postage costs no way would it come even close to $79.

If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Funny it says smartstick on it. It's stupid to force users to buy such non-standard memory cards instead of using readily available memory cards/USB...

Reminds me of the "No Sniveling" sticker some wise guy put on the coffee machine in the break room where I used to work. Cracked me up every time I saw it *smile*. Another person at the same place had a stamp that read "BORING", that they used on a lot of the paper work that went by their desk. I thought that was entertaining, also. That was when there still was paper work, of course.

What I heard from my UK co-workers is that whinging is much like whining, only even more annoying and persistent *smile*. Always liked that one...

I think it's whine just misspelled.
