I've had tinnitus for some years now. Working in a large computer room full of small high pitches fans did me in, I am sure. Now I live (aurally) in a forest with thousands of crickets. I've had an ENT try to give me meds for it, I told him to keep the meds, the crickets help me to go to sleep!
