By the way, my hope to get rid of mouth taping ruined yesterday, after I tried the new NoseBreathe mouthpiece from Dr. Sue. Anyone successfully using such a one with CPAP? Does it require some getting used to?

Issues:
1) it hurts my tongue;
2) doesn't stick well on the left side of my upper teeth;
3) my tongue still tends to slide below the tongue positioner that is designed to keep the tongue at the roof top;
4) as a result, there is no reliable lip seal, which, I guess, will only worsen with CPAP

it seems like I am getting consistently good results (feeling refreshed in the morning) with my new S9 VPAP apparatus and new settings of IPAP=16, EPAP=10 and P10 nasal pillows comparing to my initial setup of S9 Autoset with open settings of 4-20 with F10.

Still a few challenges remain: sleeping through the night without interruption due to mouth leaking and "chipmunk" cheeks that drive the nasal pillows mask into my nose.

Special thanks to palerider for his guidance.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
