I sometimes hate when there are so many choices. I may be willing to buy a few if such rocks can be used to crush mold and its spores successfully. I still like the idea of having SoClean2 solely for containment purposes for I don't want to cause unnecessary harm to the environment. Afterall, it's not mold's fault that it wants to thrive in my house.Sheriff Buford wrote:Do you sell a half a bag? How much?archangle wrote:I sell special rocks that help with apnea.

Yeah, but the BEST thing to do would be GTF outta that house.bill-e wrote:Tan, The cheapest thing to do would be to keep the entire setup in a seal-able container in which you also have one of the moisture absorbing dehumidifier packs when not in use.
Not through the system, through the humidifier, mask, and hose. No ozone goes through the blower unit.bill-e wrote:The way the Soclean2 works is that it automatically runs for 7 min (adjustable) each day at a prescribed time (adjustable) during which it pumps ozone through your system and collects it in the sealed box that your mask is in.

There's no need to cover or seal up the CPAP at all. What little moldy air settles on your CPAP equipment during the day is nothing compared to the thousands of liters of air the CPAP is going to pump every night. 2 seconds after you turn the CPAP on, you're breathing moldy room air, although it is filtered through the filters on the back of your CPAP machine. The CPAP is going to pull at least 20 liters of air per minute through the machine. That's over 1000 liters an hour.tan wrote:My house has humidity and mold issues, which the landlord won't fix. I have to run de-humidifer non-stop. I wonder whether SoClean2 could be a better(though expensive) container to protect against the exposure or simply wrapping with paper towel would be good enough, when the unit is not running.

Well, that's certainly why I buy soap. And white vinegar. Well, I use it for cooking, too. Not the soap. Just the vinegar.chunkyfrog wrote:Disinfection--soap; isn't that the reason we buy soap?
