ResMed machines in China (or Europe)

I'm about to purchase my first CPAP machine, but a major concern is how well the power supplies work in other countries.

I want to get an AirSense APAP, and the specs look like it should support the extra voltage from Chinese power supply. However it's been my experience that these specs are rated on short term use and I've had some equipment slowly fry under the extra voltage if used for a long time.

Anyone have any experience with the Airsense or other ResMed products for long term (say 2+ months) usage in China, UK, or other parts of Europe? Do they require transformers?

given that the specs on the power supplies are 100-250v 50-60hz, ie, universal, I think you'll be fine.

I used my Resmed S9 in Spain thinking I would be fine since the says it supports the higher voltage. It fried the power cord on the first day. When I returned, I found that while they [u]should [/u]work, there are often power surges that can cause problems. You would be wise to take a surge suppressor at a minimum, but this summer when I go back to Europe, I am just going to be taking a voltage converter...not worth risking losing your CPAP or not having it work during your trip.
