RTL111,
You should define for us what travel means to you. Land, sea, air, hardly ever, occasionally(still hardly ever), often or all the time.
Armed with that knowledge we might just say use what you have or maybe recommend a small cpap for all the time air travel or something in between.

Re: travel cpap
Two trips in 3 months isn't a lot of traveling so I would just make a third carryon and bring my home unit. Than being said, if you travel a lot and don't like lugging around a third bag then a travel CPAP is a good option and for me the only way I will travel or camp. Prior to getting the Z1 when t...

Re: Recommended CPAP travel machine
I'm an HDM Z1 Auto (and previously Z1) guy. Do a search on my user name and you will get plenty of info on the Z1 family. I travel 4 days a week, almost every week via plane. I keep my Z1 in my backpack. I tried flying with my 560 and OEM bag but the third bag was just too much of a PITA. If you're ...

Zeak,

Re: Travel CPAP?
I have a lot of experience with the Human Design Medical (HDM) Z1 and Z1 Auto. Do a search on my username and you will get plenty of discussion on the topic. I use it almost weekly and almost weekly airline trips for a couple of years now so it's plenty tough. The other brand of travel cpap is one b...

Re: Noise of HDM Z1
Also, you really need to use it for a week or so to get used to it in my experience. Personally the noise never kept me awake but it was a pleasant change when I started using the Q-Tube. I even stick the Z1 under the covers which also helps. Also, a significant contributor to noise is the air exiti...

I've been using mine for 2 years....no deterioration, discoloration and the smell diminished by 90% after about 6 months or so.....It's like Ballistol, others hate the smell while I like it.

Re: Transcend CPAP Machine
ontariomama, There is one more travel sized CPAP machine that you should check out, the Human Design Medical Z1 and Z1 Auto machines. Right now they have a 30 day return period for the machine and all the accessories that you buy with the initial purchase. From their web site: - The products include...

Re: SO CLEAN2 CPAP CLEANER
I just picked up some unsented wipes from Walmart...$0.99 for a 2" tall pile of them in a dispenser...hope they work and I'm anxious to see how the Soclean2 reacts with their use. If they really do remove the oils from the mask, it may be good to wipe both my face and the mask before use to reduce t...

Re: A question on SoClean 2 CPAP Cleaner and Sanitizer
I didn't like the odor after the 7 minute cycle so I reduced the time to 4 minutes. NYcpap, after about 6 months of use the smell is greatly reduced. If you've used the machine for that long you may want to experiment with raising it back to 7 min and see how the odor is. I personally do not find t...

Re: CPAP and RVs
I have a new camper, every light is LED and two 12v deep cycle batteries and I use my Z1 Auto. I've gone on many a 3 night dry camp without issue at a pressure of 14-20. I am considering solar so I don't have to worry about conserving for the cpap. I can also say from experience that lower pressures...
