Results of my new sleep study

Post by Hurricane » Thu Dec 18, 2014 4:14 pm

Just received the results of my hospital sleep study, the patient was titrated on the Adaptive Servo Ventilation with an EPAP of 15 and a minimum PS of +5 and maximum PS of +10 using a Resmed Quattro full face mask.

Interpretation: Successful ASV titration with the above settings. Ongoing adaptive Servo Ventilation is recommended.

Any input appreciated, I"m waiting now for the medical supplier to contact me, My Dr is sending the prescription, and info today. This new stage of treatment is new to me, am now in the stage of learning the new treatment. thanks for any suggestions.

Ed

The new machine is going to be either the Respironics AutoSV model 960 or the ResMed S9 Adapt Auto or maybe the very latest ResMed the Aircurve 10 ASV

https://www.cpap.com/productpage/pr-60- ... anced.html

The Aircurve replaces the S9 Adapt Auto and was just released earlier this month
http://www.resmed.com/us/en/consumer/pr ... 0-asv.html

All are great machines...full data and all that and software (Sleepyhead and ResScan) is available.

I am currently using the S9 Adapt and a slightly older version that doesn't have auto epap but I don't really need it or miss it.
I took to it like a duck to water from the first night.

I am on the auto SV advance. I bypassed go and went straight to the SV. I've had no problems with the machine, just getting the right mask.
