Re: Poll: How Old Are CPAP Users?
39. I've been using CPAP since last fall. This forum was a major help. There was a complete lack of education and support when I was diagnosed.

Airsense 10 setting question
I just got my Airsense 10 Autoset for Her last week. Does anyone know if there's a way to change the settings so that the daily AHI can be viewed on the screen without going into the clinical settings to find it each time?

Re: New F&P full face mask ("Simplus")
I just bought this mask. The fit is great, but it seems much louder than my other mask. Has anyone noticed that?

Re: Need some User Reviews!
I have that pillow as well. I absolutely LOVE it. It made a big difference for me because my mask kept shifting around all night. CPAP.COM also carries this pillow.

Re: HELP! Best CPAP providers for Los Angeles?
I just switched to Classic Sleep Care. I have to say I was impressed with them. They had a respiratory therapist call me and talk about supplies and got them sent right out to me. Everyone I have spoken with had been polite and helpful. I would definitely give them a try especially since they're so ...

Re: side sleeping
I'm a side sleeper too and also had the wind in my eyes problem. I bought this buckwheat pillow from CPAP.com. It made a HUDGE difference. My mask doesn't move all over my face anymore. It takes a couple of nights to find the right amount of fill in the pillow. It's not soft like a down pillow, but ...

This might be a stupid question. What is csr detection?palerider wrote: one would think if you're going to point out actual improvements, you'd highlight the reported upgradable firmware, csr detection, added 'for her' functions first

Re: "Super" Cleaning Icon Auto Tank
The Control III solution is the best cleaning product I've seen. Another quick fix is to soak it in a diluted vinegar solution. Vinegar is a mild acid and great for cleaning. I know it doesn't smell great while you're using it, but afterwords everything smells fresh again. I use a 1:3 dilution of vi...

Re: AirFit F10 - almost completely using all water but dry?
I use the same mask and machine. I keep the humidity set between 4.5-5 and most of the water tank ends up used by the end of the night. I don't feel like everything's soggy in the morning either. I think it's just better venting.

Re: Neck Ache
I have similar problems. It's usually due to over tightening the straps on my mask. I've found that if I use a liner, I don't have to keep the straps so tight to keep air from blowing in my eyes.

Thanks for the advice. I might just do that. Either way, I'm hoping to order the AirSense from our host in January when my flexible spending starts.

Re: for anybody with COPD issues... take your vitamin D!
There's an interesting lecture series on YouTube about the link between vitamin D deficiency and sleep apnea. It's by Dr. Stasha Gominak.
