Watching the video, the device looks like a very complicated oversized mouthguard... Wonder how comfortable that would be

Donald Trump’s post-convention meltdown has cost him in the polls and led some high-profile Republicans to disavow hi...

GOOD NEWS: You heard it here first, I saw the video. Billy Bush just killed the Trump with a 'hot' microphone. <gleefully laughing at all the Trump supporters> Politically, Trump is now dead. I don't have to post the link cuz it will be worldwide in one hour. BAD NEWS: Some conspiracy buffs are sayi...

Re: Newbie.....cant make past 1 hour!!
I had the same feeling in my nose when I tried nasal pillows. They just did not agree with me. I switched to a nasal mask, it only covers the nose, and it was much improved . I use the Swift FX Nano, It has headgear that in not claustrophobic. You might look into that. Ditto for when I left off wit...

I hope it doesn't hit Florida and the East Coast at Cat 3 or 4, that could be ugly since it is so slow moving... I'm sending prayers heavenward.

Re: California Kaiser CPAP coverage?
Back in the 70's and 80's when my wife and I had Kaiser it was considered the gold standard and we liked it quite a lot. Guess things have changed because not having CPAP coverage is absurd.

Re: Brick machine, no health insurance - what else can I DO?
A very old initial thread, but like others have said I've used a common room deodorizer like Glade or whatever to mask new machine odors. I like pine scent from Renuzit, however those are getting hard to find except around Christmas. The new machine smell goes away pretty quickly, at least from my e...

Re: Dreamstation - clicking sound - problem identified & solved
I went to the supplier and they suggested it was a hose problem. They switched hoses but still the clicking noise prevailed. They swapped the humidifier and the noise stopped. A new humidifier has been ordered for me - they have not had this happen to anyone else - I am unique! Thanks for reporting...

Re: CPAP smell-offgassing
I've had a few new machines... it goes away in a several days, so just adapt. Put an air freshener near it for a week or two. Nobody complains about 'new car' smell in their new car, mostly because it's a a desirable status symbol. Think of your CPAP like that. If that concept is not acceptable then...

Re: Weaning off sleeping meds
Comedian Steve Coogan was joking in a recent sit com of his: "It's difficult to decide with these AD meds. Happy and soft - or Hard and sad." Actually I guess it's not too funny after all.

Re: Weaning off sleeping meds
Weaning off sleep aids is OT but not by very much IMO! Just a note in general about Ambien, generic zolpidem, (or other Z-Meds like Lunesta), and especially benzodiazepine drug users (benzos like Xanax, lorazepam etc). Do NOT go cold turkey to get off them... be sure to taper off over a period of we...

Re: Should Hillary Clinton?
Here's the Youtube link to SNL's spoof on the debates last night - Hillary got reamed out too BTW. Yeah, even some Trump supporters will get a few chuckles. The tiny little butthole comment knocked me to the floor... Alex Baldwin rules.

Re: Should Trump Drop Out
The takeaway of all this (I guess) is that apparently Carolyn Goodman or somebody does moderate behind the scenes when things get crazy out of hand. Very good to know on many levels. Thanks. i have to think that if the Goodmans had anything to do with it they would have restored PEF's and other mis...
