Years ago when I upgraded from my S8 CPAP to an APAP I did not purchase and additional H4i humidifier instead i got the F&P humidifier with ambient tracking to help reduce raining.

With todays machines there is no real advance to using one so its kind of irrelevant these days.
Is anybody still using a "stand-alone" humidifier?

I used to think there was no such thing as a stupid question.
I have changed my mind . . .

I have never thought that, as long as you have stupid people that want attention you will have stupid questions. Here we seem to attract them, but also sometimes the answers are as stupid. Jimchunkyfrog wrote:I used to think there was no such thing as a stupid question.

Apparently some people are incapable of ignoring cpap related posts that they don't care for ...

I guess I'm in the minority. I enjoy reading about the different ways people use various types of technology, old or new, so I thought it was an interesting question.

How can I "look up" what's actually in use? I can only look up what can be bought!nanwilson wrote:I have a suggestion for you, instead of asking members your silly questions, why don't you look it up yourself.
Is it because you spend so much time "wondering" about useless stuff you don't have enough time to look it up yourself... or... you like to see your posts in print.. or.. you just don't believe that you are a PITA
Re: Is anybody still using a "stand-alone" humidifier?
I kinda miss my old pass over humidifier, and one might even be useful during power outages. Maybe if I see one cheap enough I'll hoard it.
