Looks like you nudged the max of 17 briefly in the wee hours of the morning...probably in response to the snores that are shown increasing at the same time. Might have been REM relate or might have been supine related. Hard to tell for sure why.

I am confused...AHI is showing 4.13..yet the AHI breakdown shows
OA 1.6
Hyponea 0.8
UA...0.0
and nothing for central yet the pie chart shows centrals.
and 1.6 plus 0.8 is 2.4 and not 4.13....so that leaves 1.73 unaccounted for and should be centrals.

Still a very decent report though. I would stay on course with these settings for now.

Not really. I just wanted to show my progress.

I'm not sure. Hopefully it will show more with a few more nights at these settings.

I know a couple of times during the night I had leaks because i was sleeping on my side with my face down and drool had accumulated inside the mask making it leak. That is totally new for me. I guess a combination of me now being able to sleep on my side and me sleeping better. I guess i have a question after all. Would lowering my humidity level, lower the drool production? I actually laughed out loud at typing drool production. I like the humidity level for my nose and throat but i could tweak it down if it would help, Its set on 5.

No, it likely wouldn't help. The drool is saliva production combined with facial muscles relaxing and the lips parting to let it flow out.
That could happen even without a humidifier being used.
I sometimes wake up with a big drool spot on my bed pillow or some yucky dried stuff on the corners of my mouth...it's a bit annoying but if I think about it I find it happens most often when I have had good solid sleep and got really relaxed...so maybe it isn't all bad.
Your could try lowering the humidity selection but you may find that your nasal mucosa don't like it and when the nasal mucosa are unhappy what they do is a lot more annoying than a bit of drool and when they are unhappy it can make your entire day miserable.
Been there and done that and given the 2 choices (if humidity selection even reduced the drool which I doubt) between wiping a bit of yucky stuff off the corners of my mouth or dealing with what my nasal mucosa do when they are unhappy (it's ugly) I take the drool any day of the week. When my nasal mucosa get dried out...imagine your worst allergy attack with all the runny nose, congestion, sneezing, itching...and that's what happens to me when my nasal mucosa get dried out and it usually will last a couple of days.

Sneezing fix.

Post by tswrace » Wed Dec 17, 2014 10:05 am

When I got my cpap machine, Respironic's S9 auto, I would have sneezing fits that would go on all day. I found an output filter that has cured the problem. These filters are a prescription required product. I have used them successfully now for a year and a half. The link to them is:

I hope this helps.
