You know it took me about 4 nights for the P10 headgear to get to a comfortable point for me but remember I was coming from the Tap Pap nasal pillow mask which didn't have any headgear at all.
I just recently retired my original P10 nasal pillow along with the headgear (so I used it from Jan until late Oct). I found the headgear simply got stretched out too much and wouldn't shrink back enough to keep a good seal....I have a small head. At first I thought it was the nasal pillow so it got retired first but figured out that it was the headgear allowing way too much movement when I saw the leak reports didn't improve all that much with the new nasal pillow.
I took a close look at the head gear...it was very tired and a bit misshapen.
I am going to try one more last washing in really, really hot water to see if I can shrink the head gear enough and if I can't...I won't keep the old head gear stretchy part. Still not bad life span...Jan to Oct. And I don't baby any of my gear.

Pugsey

Seems that i read that you can shrink headgear back into shape by putting it in the dryer for 10 minutes.

That is my next plan of attack.
Have not used the clothes dryer on it yet. Up until now just hand wash and dry as I was afraid of too much heat but since the headgear is out of shape (lumpy looking) and hand washing didn't fix it....I have nothing to lose. I just haven't thrown it in the laundry yet.
It's not the end of the world if it is beyond further use though. I have 2 or 3 spares.
Maybe I will do it today if I can think of it...I have enough laundry to do a load.

Just thought I would report back.. I have settled on the P-10 as my mask of choice. My last 14 day average AHI is 1.5 and that is with swapping out between the medium and large pillows. The medium consistently gives a 1 point lower AHI than the large does so I have settled for the medium size as well. Last night my AHI was .12 which is a record low for me.

At least for me, less appears to be best!

What are you doing about humidity?

Seems to me that with my Amara mask, a humidity setting of 4 was best but I'm finding with the P10, 2 seems to work best. With 3, I felt that the humidity was causing my sinuses to congest/inflame just a little bit.

I have been using a humidity setting of 2. I have had occasional congestion on one side but not both. Normally good till right before it is time to get up. Getting almost eight hours a night.
