Palerider is right. I does have a big truck, and I carry my bed and a ton of "stuff" (i.e. CRAP) wherever I may roam. Plus up to 46,000 pounds of someone else's crap in the trailer behind me.
And my Ninja. I'm stopping somewhere to cook thanksgiving dinner for myself.

Julie, I will be trying for a 600 mile day tomorrow, weather permitting. The people I COULD "dine with" probably should be yanked from the gene pool. Some truck stops have free or discounted turkey day dinner for drivers, but we'll see...its not my first go round working the holiday, and I don't have a big gathering to miss. Work tomorrow, get a longer weekend.

Our son will have his boys on Sunday, so we will adjust our schedule because it's all about family.

In my city, Rochester, MN, for many years we had a Federal Medical Center to house inmates with medical needs... it had a lot of doctors on staff (government docs, not from Mayo). Maybe that's where they put the CPAP machines and the people who use them... The only nationally known inmate I'm aware of was Jim Baker, the televangelist. I've no idea what his health issue was. These days the buildings of that campus are serving other needs.

In sure they didn't commit a Federal Crime, and get a sentence of a few months, if so it could be longer or maybe just turn them loose. Maybe the President could add them to the list of other criminals he's pardoning. Then they could go home, get a good healthy sleep, and go out and continue to break the law, refreshed. Jim

I'm thankful that I was not cursed with such bitterness and hate.

While traveling to grandma's house, I think I stumbled onto Chunky Frog's birthplace:
