I am not a SleepyGuy lackey either.
I have been using one of his pillows since August I think it was of 2009 when I got my first buckwheat hull pillow from him.
Earlier this year I got a chance to try one of the improved versions without the foam...then he sent me the foam to add to the hulls.
I was happy with either way (with or without the foam). This likely would be a personal preference thing...the foam or not.

It's going to be like any other bed pillow out there...YMMV and be based on personal preferences along with body size.
I am small, petite (have shrunk to 4 ft 11 inches) woman and I do better with a lower profile pillow.
I also have a really nasty cervical spine just eat up with degenerative disc disease (to the point I have a metal plate in my neck). I prefer to sleep on my side but I sometimes end up on my back. The hulls allow me to quickly adjust the height needed to maintain my much needed straight cervical spine alignment.

Is this type of pillow going to work for everyone out there? Of course not because there's simply nothing out there that makes 100% of the population happy. Is this type of pillow worth at least trying if someone is having problems...by all means it's worth trying.
I have said it before and I will say it again...I would use this pillow simply for my neck issues even if I didn't use a cpap machine and want a pillow that would allow easy adjustment for cpap mask placement.

Just a point of logic, "nope" is not a valid answer if you don't know who it was.

"Lackey" means a servant, e.g., suggesting it was somebody I asked to post, that it was me using another login, or somehow connected to me. So I deny that it was my servant and reinforced the denial by the statement that I have no idea who made the post. I have no lackeys posting about the pillow or other products.

Good servants do things they have not been asked to do. So if you don't know who posted it, you can't know that it was not one of your lackeys. Basic logic.

You are making stupid accusations. Bret has been a member of this forum for over 8 years and has supplied valuable products that are used by many posters. recently he sent free pillows to a number of members. He doesn't need "lackeys" to promote his products.

one could argue, and I'm guessing that Granny might be wandering in this area, that offering the informal deal of "hey, I'll give you something free if you post nice things about it" could be viewed by some as a lackey arrangement.

or at best, a paid advertisement.

Agreed. Someone needs to can the troll.

Also, SleepGuy, I was going to remember to ask you, what is the material the foam is made of, and what is its curing process?

I can understand people being sensitive to spam on the boards. That is not my intent. In all of my product trials, the intent is to get as much criticism and advise as possible. I am not looking for flattery. I have found that this approach is a very helpful way for me to better understand and improve my products. Since I am kind of a "one man show" people on the forum are a tremendous R&D department. I don't have any lackeys to my knowledge, though if anybody is volunteering please let me know and I will put you to work. Many thanks again to the many forum members who have helped me with these products. I appreciate your support, advice, experience, etc.

I just ordered one from Overstock today, just before I saw that it was available on CPAP.com. I'm really picky with my pillows, but I'm hoping it helps with my (minor) mask leaks.

But you haven't told us whether you got a free pillow and became a free-pillow lackey.
