Re: The resmed airfit F10 full face mask
The F10 is pretty popular and I think I might be in the minority of folks who havent had a good experience with it. Im a pretty big guy but they size me as small. With the F-10 at times my mouth would open and fall out of the bottom of the mask. They sized me as small for the Simplus but she gave me...

Re: The resmed airfit F10 full face mask
I have used the F 10 FFM and it didnt work well for me. Way too many leaks. I have had better success with the Fisher and Paykel Simplus FFM.

Re: Ok all my info and some questions
Oh ok. Also thanks for explaning the EMR setting for me. One question I forgot to ask was my confusion over the change in pressures on inhale and exhale while I had it in CPAP mode.

Ok all my info and some questions
First off I am relatively new here and I would like to thank all of those who have replied to some of my earlier posts. This might be a little long but its all relevant. Suspicious of having Sleep Apnea my PCP prescribed me a sleep study back in 2009. The results of that study where severe sleep dis...

Re: APAP
It is a resmed VPAP S. I ave a little bit of a negative experience with the whole process. Based on my titration study they originally had me on some insane setting like 20 and bipap. It was horrendous I couldn't adapt it was breathing for me it was crazy. I didnt comply with my CPAP therapy. 4 year...

APAP
As in auto cpap? Wouldn't this be a no brainer for everyone who needs CPAP therapy? I mean it would stand to reason that peoples pressures would vary depending on weight fluctuation...and numerous other factors. Should auto PAP be the standard? It seems to me it should and I want one but the machine ...

Re: First night with a CPAP... please tell me it gets better!
I initially was diagnosed with sever sleep apnea in 2009. I tried to adjust to using CPAP. I couldnt. 4 years later, desperate I gave it another shot. Now I wont sleep with out it. I strap my full mask to my face and it signals my body to sleep. It gets better you adapt. No matter how hard you think...

Re: Recommend a full face mask for me.
I recently have tried this after being very pessimistic as to finding a face mask that is comfortable and doesn't wake me with leaking. I came from the Resmed Airfit F-10 and for me this mask is superior. I love it.

Re: Full Masks
yikes pretty confusing. But Im thrilled that I at least use the machine now. Last night I think I got like 9 hrs of sleep. I woke at 6 AM briefly and rolled over as it was Saturday for some extended sleep and woke again at 9 am...lol. But i do recall waking and adjusting the mask because of leaks th...

Re: Full Masks
I do feel the leaks my pressure is 14 but when I go into "efficiency data" on my resmed VPAP S it says like 11.8, 12. Not sure how that works unless it is calculating the pressure with the leak data.

My leaks are like 38 to 40L...my AHI last night was 2.8. Its been as high as 4 lately. I have been noticing dreaming lately though and people say I look different. I think therapy is working for me im 3 weeks in. If I can just solve this leak issue.....
