I'm sorry you're dealing with this, Dori, but know that you and Mike are in my prayers... my mother had dementia so I know you have a lot to deal with ... and having a live-in caretaker will help you take of yourself.. Blessings to you and your family!

I am so sorry for both of you. My mom has some form of dementia; it's so difficult to remember to love who she is now and not who she was, because that's distressing beyond words...I know you know what this means. We are going to try the 'coconut ketone' diet and see if that helps. We lost someone who has been our friend for 40 years a few months ago and we're still grieving. They say that life never hands us challenges we can't deal with...sometimes I wonder. Take care of yourself Dori, you're one of the special people I miss because I've not been able to visit more often. I'll add you and Mike to my prayers.

Dori

I'm so sorry to hear about Mike. Please remember to take care of yourself as you & your care giver take care of Mike. He may not be able to verbalize it but you're keeping him warm, safe and comfortable, and he knows how much he is loved in his time of need.
