Re: HELP! Mirrage Liberty Hybrid Full Face Mask
This is the only mask that has worked for me. No I do not get pain in my nose, assume you mean nostrils. Maybe experiment with different size nasal pillows that came with it? Is the frame the correct size for you?

Re: Advice on mouth taping?
I use 3M surgical tape with good results. I tape in an "X" pattern over the mouth and it stays all night. I heard of people using painters blue tape with good results as well.

Re: New Mask Last Night and Argh...
Thank you everyone for the advice and tips. I'm still getting used to the idea that I have to sleep with this thing for life. When I was a kid and had to wear headgear for my braces, the only thing that got me through it was the promise of a nice smile and it would be over at some point. This is on ...

Re: New Mask Last Night and Argh...
I've had some success with DIY liners these days. I used an old T-Shirt as one layer and then a night gown from the wife (she's still mad at me since I didn't check if it was of retirement age or not and it wasn't) as another layer. I used the nightgown layer as the layer touching my face and then t...

Re: New Mask Last Night and Argh...
I had a similar problem with my F&P Simplus - it didn't leak much at all, but it was tearing my nose up. I couldn't get a good seal with either of the Quattro FF, and I didn't have much luck getting a mask liner to seat well. I ended up with a Mirage Liberty - no major leaks and good airflow. It's ...

Re: Going Back to Sleep, A Good Idea?
Thanks guys! I seem to feel worse when I go back to sleep for like 1 to 1.5 hours. I am trying to stay up a little later now and it seems to be working. My sweet spot is like 7 hours.

Going Back to Sleep, A Good Idea?
Hi All, Quick question. Seems even after my AHI numbers are settling in I still don't feel great. I often wake up after about 6 hours sleep, make a BR run then because I have time for another 1 to 2 hours of sleep I go back to sleep (with therapy). Could this be a cause of my foggyness even with the...

New Mask Last Night and Argh...
Hi All, Thought I was doing ok with my therapy.Been at it for nearly 3 weeks now and have seen my AHI numbers gradually drop and settle in to less than 2.0. I had been using a Devilbiss D100 FF mask but it was literally destroying the bridge of my nose. I tried a Resmed Quattro FX last night and tho...

Devilbiss vs Resmed
Thanks for the quick replies! All the equipment is imported here and thus an S9 runs approx 3x what it costs in the states so I need to make sure I'm making the right and complete decision. I plan to pick up a used Devilbiss as a travel machine when I get back stateside.

Re: Devilbiss vs Resmed
Gonna order the Resmed tomorrow. I will get the S9 auto set with H5i humidifier. Am I missing anything to be able to get full diagnostics? Does the SD card come with the base unit? Is the heated hose (comfort line) worth it? Sorry for all the questions, wanna make sure I get all that I need in the f...

Re: 2nd Night Better but...
After 2 nights with the FF mask got an AHI of 4.5. Needed to tape my mouth even with the FF mask, any risks in doing this? I have this vision of severe congestion blocking my nose up while sleeping and since my mouth is taped up the scene ends badly.

Re: 2nd Night Better but...
Thanks All, well 3rd night and only got about 5.5 hrs sleep with an AHI of 8.5. Still struggling with the mouth blowouts even with tape. woke up at 2:30am feeling like I ate a bale of cotton. I am going back to the docs today to get a FF mask to see what that does for me...

Re: Devilbiss vs Resmed
Pretty much any mask fits any machine fits any hose--except for the heated hoses, which need to mate with the machine. The mask mainly needs to fit your face--period. If you are looking as S9 machines, look for an Autoset or an Elite; never an Escape! Never, ever! I see you have an Airsense 10, sin...
