Re: Please help interpret Sleepyhead results
Can you explain? I went from 30+ AHI per hour pre therapy to less than 1 per hour now. I thought the primary measurement of the quality of my sleep was my AHI? Please bear with me but how will a high leak rate hurt the quality of my sleep if my AHI is that good? That being said, I still don’t feel t...

Re: Please help interpret Sleepyhead results
Is the effectiveness of my therapy compromised because I am having a higher leak rate in spite of low AHI readings?

Re: Please help interpret Sleepyhead results
I just downloaded the ResScan software and uploaded my data. It essentially shows the same results, low AHI and high leak rate. Am I mistaken to assume that with a low AHI I am receiving the full benefits of CPAP therapy? As I mentioned above, I'm asking because I don't feel as good or rested the pa...

Re: Please help interpret Sleepyhead results
Pale rider, curious about your comment on my terrible leak rate. And I noticed you are using pillows as well. Do your pillows seal very well, have you had issues, etc? I had been using 7 or 8 different full face masks per my Dr’s recommendation due to my high pressure and they all leaked and frequen...

Re: Please help interpret Sleepyhead results
I’ve definitely had the card in the machine all along, this is the first I’ve removed it in a couple of years. Yes, my comments on the increased AHI are due to the overview information only. I do sometimes wake up from a leak, or my wife nudging me because a leak is waking her up, but I would say 90...

Re: Please help interpret Sleepyhead results
I wonder why there is no data? I have had the same machine, etc. for a couple of years, and I think the last mask change was last year some time. Most mornings my Auto Set says that my mask is leaking alot, I get the sad face...do my Sleeepyhead results show an unacceptable leak rate? I also noticed...

Please help interpret Sleepyhead results
Hi all, Thank you in advance for your help and this board! I have been on CPAP therapy for a few years and things have gone pretty well, low AHI, etc. but the past few months I have been feeling more tired, etc. I need to refresh my understanding of the terms, results, and Sleepyhead software use, b...

Re: High leak rate but low AHI
Thank you for the detailed response, helpful to know that apparently that the leak rate was the peak for the night. I do have the Sleepyhead software but haven’t used it in awhile because things have been going well. I will dust it off and take a look. As a side note regarding the Airfit P10, it see...

High leak rate but low AHI
Hi all, After struggling with full face masks for some time I switched to nasal pillows with a chin strap a year or more ago. Being a mouth breather I was hesitant but it has worked out very well! However, I’ve noticed that my leak rate is high, according to the machine, at about 35, but my AHI’s ha...

Re: Staining of Pillowcases????
Same exact issue here as well. Have used multiple masks and switched up pillow cases (all are cotton though), and I consistently get the purplish stains every time I use my Airfit P10. I'm convinced its the P10 on its own, or reacting with the cotton pillow case. I'm male, not using hair color, loti...

Re: help w/interpreting SleepyH results
Oh, I thought clear airway time was a clear airway, not a clear airway event! Oops, my bad! There is a lot to learn, and you all have been great! I will add the leak graph so it will display and eliminate the others. Thanks!

help w/interpreting SleepyH results
I am two weeks into Cpap therapy and it's going fairly well. This is my first night with an AHI below 5! So I feel good and am happy about that, but I do wonder why I had so many Obstructed events per the pie chart? If my AHI is that low, shouldn't my Clear events be much higher? http://i36.photobuc...
