It's raining, it's pouring, the old broad is snoring!

Post by cathyf » Wed Oct 29, 2014 12:00 pm

I got the heated tube for my S10 last week, and am kind of bummed (but not surprised) because it's dumping warm air on my face. I tried to set the temperature down to 67 from 81, without changing any of the other humidifier settings. Well that was a mistake, and at 3:30 I woke up because it was raining in my mask! I set the value back to AUTO and drained the water out of stuff and put the mask on and went back to sleep.

So can anyone explain if/how I can adjust the humidity settings so that I can turn the hose temp down? The humidity is set to 4 -- should I set it up or down from there?

Couple things you could try. Bump up the hose temperature, use a fleece cover over the hose, increase room temp, or turn down the humidity.

Might be a bit of trial and error until you find the right combo for you.

You have 2 choices.
Lower the humidity setting itself or increase the temperature setting..or you could do a little of both I suppose.
67 degrees wasn't enough warmth to prevent the condensation...maybe 72 degrees is enough warmth in terms of preventing the air from releasing the moisture and still not feel too warm to your face.
You just have to play with the settings to see which way works best for you.

Since 81 degrees and a humidifier setting of 4 gets me no rainout, maybe I'll run the humidity down to 3 and try to figure out if I can get the temp down to where it's more comfortable.
