Good Sleep Doctor in Phoenix AZ?

Post by racprops » Tue Oct 28, 2014 5:26 am

OK I cannot figure this stuff out; my readings are all over the place.

So anyone know of a good sleep Doctor in Phoenix AZ?? Would like him/her to be in north/west but will drive to anywhere in Phoenix if needed.

Also need one that will work with me and listen to my findings and reactions, not a Dictator.

Thanks.

Rich

Rich,

I have no idea where this is in relation to Phoenix but I I have seen this guy mentioned.

And I don't know anything about him so I don't know if he would meet your criteria.

Also, what about the Mayo Clinic?

Best of luck in finding someone. Believe me, I feel your pain more than you will ever know.

PS - Would any of your doctors be able to recommend someone?

I've only seen one Sleep Dr recently. He has been pretty good, a Cpap user himself which provided some interesting conversation and patient awareness. I've seen him now twice, once as a consultation to see where I was when I was looking for a new machine, and once now on the followup after the Sleep study.

He prescribed a good data machine pretty much of my choosing and was encouraged that I knew a lot about my therapy, used software to follow it etc. I am supposed to see him in a couple weeks for a followup on how the new machine is working and check my data after which I assume I won't need to see him any longer.

While he is in the Phx Metro area, He is kinda in the opposite direction of where you are looking.

Dr Paul Barnard MD
3303 E Baseline RD Bldg 4, STE 208
Gilbert AZ 85234 - (480) 962-1650

He is part of a group which is kind of normal and used Banner Medical Sleep Center which is located next to Banner Desert Medical hospital in Mesa for sleep studies if needed which was quite a good center.
