Here's "the thing"

I stocked up on smart cards and card readers years ago when they were still available and much cheaper.....and NONE are for sale.
And, I KNOW WHERE THEY ALL ARE.

Re: Going to the Potty at Nighttime
For those of you that end up going to the bathroom several times a night, what is your unhooking procedure? Do you remove your mask from your face/head? Do you just unhook the hose from your mask and darth Vader it to the toilet? Are you male or female? I don't have to unhook Read this: https://www...

Re: Prices of supplies sky high!
I haven't bought supplies in about eight months, and they now seem to be around 80% more expensive across the board, everywhere. It's insane. Anybody know a website that has lower prices? WHAT "supplies"? That's a very vague statement. You're not being very descriptive. What do you "need" and why s...

Contact these folks:remstarcpap wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 2:17 pmHi,
I've got a 6-year-old airsense 10 autoset that one night just started blowing full pressure! I vaguely remember taking apart one of these years ago, and there was a pressure sensor regulator.
Is there any fix for this? Or is it a goner?

Re: Any use for old machine?
I'm sure this has been answered before, but none of the search terms I tried turned up anything useful. I just replaced my still working ResMed S9 AutoSet with the AirSense 11. What do you all do with old machines - just throw them away? I don't need a back-up machine because I have a travel CPAP. ...

Re: Quick Pressure Question
Hi everyone, a possibly quick question about my pressure settings on my Resmed 11. I'm currently set at APAP, 8 to 15. For the past couple of weeks, SleepHQ shows my AHI below 3 on those settings. My 95% is 13 to 14 and my 99% is 14 to 15. I'm still waking up feeling "full" and gassy with some lowe...

Re: How can I make use of the empty 1-gallon distilled water jugs?
Reduce Reuse Recycle Reevaluate - the fourth R. Reevaluate your need to actually use distilled. Is your water safe to drink? How much calcium is left in tank? How often and how much effort is required to clean mineral deposits. Distilled water isn't a medical requirement. CPAP manufacturers suggest...

Re: Time zones and health
Flipping thru channels I caught the tail end of this and thought it might be interesting for this board, especially as we approach the turning back of the clocks in many parts of the world. I hope someone finds it interesting. They talk about health effects of time zones in some parts of the world....

Re: CPAP vs APAP settings
If APAP is prescribed at the start of therapy, do people usually get put on CPAP later (after a titration period) or do they stay on APAP? Or is it impossible to say? I've always recommended that users try BOTH modes and then study the reports to find out which which mode and settings work/feel bes...

Re: Does Anyone Hate their CPAP?
Tonight is my 15th night trying to sleep with the cpap and I have not slept at all with it on. The longest I've withstood it on my face is almost 3 hours and it has cost me so much sleep I now feel awful. If anyone hate's their machine as much as I do and feels the cpap is counterproductive to thei...

Re: New to the board and about to start my new life with a CPAP machine
I just joined the board today, and I don't currently have a CPAP machine, but one is in my near future. I had a sleep study done a few months ago and was told that I had an AHI of 35 and O2 sats dropped to 75%. That was a huge wake up call. My second sleep study to fit a mask and determine the prop...

Re: Philips Attempting to Avoid Replacement of Recalled Older System One CPAPs
I keep getting reminded about this old, often-used phrase on the forum......"Tanks Rule!" https://www.cpaptalk.com/search.php?keywords=%22tanks+Rule%22 all of my machines were made before even the M Series generation hit the market. I had no intentions of having "the latest and greatest"...... becau...
