OK I upgraded Sleepyhead two questions:

Post by racprops » Wed Oct 22, 2014 2:02 am

One:

I did write protected my SD Card as told, so before I put it back into my machine I am thinking I need to remove the write protect RIGHT??

Two:

Can I now import my O2 files from files for its own program on my computer to Sleepyhead?? They were NOT saved nor remembered by the last version of Sleepyhead.

Import wizard WORKED FINE....Never mind helping me..

I found I had to find the original O2 reports (hard to find them..)and copy them into a new folder so that I could point Sleepyhead at it and I have to import each file by its self, no batch importing. Worked great.

Now is there a instructions on all the new data displayed??

racprops,

I can't answer your number two question about O2 files, but I can (with confidence) answer the first:

Yes, RIGHT - you should "unlock" your SD Card so when you re-insert it into the back of the machine it will allow the machine to continue to write newer information on it. If you didn't it would write to it's internal hard drive, or if you have a modem it would send information to the DME or SleepMapper, but your SD Card would not be "writeable" and would not have the new information written to it.....

In other words, when you remove it to upload to SleepyHead, "Lock" it to keep the Windows or Mac operating system from writing unwanted information on it, and after uploading, when you have "ejected" it from your computer and then have physically removed it from the SD Card slot of the computer, you then "re-Unlock" by sliding the white tab back to the upwards position (next to the little "arrow"), and re-insert it into the back of the machine - then you are good to go for another restful night of CPAP.

Interestingly, I forgot and did not re-unlock my card one time (therefore missing writing a day's information) and a day later when I removed it, uploaded it and re-unlocked it to re-insert it into the machine, the machine filled in the missing day on the SD Card for me! The next time I uploaded to SleepyHead it was not missing that day!

Hope this helps...

Paul

Thanks, it confirms what i believed and did.

I have found that if you miss any data , yes it will give you some data but sheepyhead will be missing some of the graphs on air flow..

Here's the deal with Respironics PR System One machines (Resmed users this does NOT work this way on your machines).

The PR S1 will retain/store on the machine's internal memory a substantial (almost all) amount of data even without a SD card in the machine. The detailed flow rate graph is something that the machine won't store on its internal data. I suspect because that file is very large. So when the SD card is left in the computer instead of it being in the machine during the night the wave form/flow rate data files don't get written to the SD card...but the other files that are stored in the machine will be written to the SD card once it gets inserted...so not much is really lost.

We lose very little when we forget to put the SD card back in the PR S1....I don't know how long the other detailed files are stored on the machine before they start falling off but I think around 30 days or so...Summary usage and AHI stuff...for year. The PR S1 doesn't save everything forever...not enough room but a 2 week vacation from downloading won't lose anything.

Sorry, can't help with the O2 question...same reason as before...no experience.
