I am a newish employee in a pulmonary/sleep clinic (as well as a patient here) so I was encouraged to look into this forum as a way to increase my knowledge, but the work computers are less than fond of it I guess. Tea and biscuits, stat!

The thing I notice the most between treated vs untreated sleep is that I can go 8+ hours on CPAP without needing to go to the bathroom, but if I try to sleep on my own for even an hour (a nap for example), I'm up within 40 minutes using the bathroom. This forum doesn't like my computer much. Or my computer doesn't like this forum. Hard to tell! Anyway, I have the s9 autoset, and my pressure is set at 10cm. It seems to work for me, as my AHI has stayed under 5 every night since starting it. I had a rather bad night last night due to having a cold...

Sleep study on the 15th....

I come at this from an interesting point of view, because I work for a pulm/sleep doctor clinic. I work with CPAP patients all day long, I know most of the RTs at the DME companies by name.
But now I'm going to be a patient. I have my sleep study on October 15th. Any advice?
