Newbie in Need of help to understand report

Post by Valkyria » Mon Oct 20, 2014 1:29 am

Need help to read my report, my sleep technician said " you got severe sleep apnea and this is what we are going to do about it" and that was as far as understanding the charts went. So anybody out there who can explain further and I would be grateful ImageImageImageImage

Thank you.

What part(s) do you need explained? There is a ton of information in your report -- it will be easier for us to help you if you can ask some specific questions. You may have questions about everything in the report and that's fine, we just need a bite or two at a time to get through the whole report.

But first -- You may get many of your questions answered in this guide to understanding your sleep study report: http://adventures-in-hosehead-land.blog ... -test.html

The guide was written by a forum member and resident expert. It should help you get started.

Thank you, my main question is about Oxygen levels. My hands and arms constantly fell asleep during the night before I got the CPAP machine, we are talking more then 5 times per night. This hasn't happend since I started CPAP and I got into my head that my body took oxygen from parts where it was needed the least to feed the brain. (I'm probably wrong but would be interesting never the less).
Funny thing is 10 min after I posted this post, I had a call from sleep study place offering me a "video conference" with their main dr to walk me through the report. So that has been arranged for Friday, maybe they got spy's here
