Loving my new mask

Post by Semily » Wed Oct 01, 2014 9:32 pm

So I started using my new mask last week...the Swift FX For Her. Before that I was still struggling with the FFM...I was fighting with either having to cinch it down super tight, or deal with major leaks all night long. I am SOOO happy with the new mask! I am much more comfortable, and I am so pleased with the leak line in my SleepyHead data now. The first night I was a little worried, because my AHI jumped up to almost 7, but in hindsight, I think that was the result of tampering with the exhale relief setting. I moved it back down after the first night, and my AHI is back down below 2. I'm not even needing to use the chin strap that the sleep center tech tried to insist I was going to need.

Just for kicks and to pat myself on the back, I've attached a few SleepyHead screen shots. The one from 9/25 was my first night with the new mask. Then the last 3 nights show that it's settled down. If y'all have any thoughts or anything you'd like to point out in the graphs, please feel free to chime in. This is the first time for me to share any of my data.

Also, thank you to all of you for all of the input you've shared with me so far along the way. It means the world to me, and I believe that the information and encouragement I've found here is the reason I've done as well as I have. Thanks y'all!

Great news!!... it's sooo nice to find a mask better than the one you were using. Keep up the good work!
