Trouble with sleepyhead

Post by EMTunit31 » Wed Oct 01, 2014 3:14 pm

I'm a new user and when I try to download data from SD card i get an error saying it can't find new data to import. I can see 8 files on the card and 1 has a red X and a yellow exclimation. I have deleted and redownloaded sleepyhead. It was no help. Can anyone help? Please!

what cpap machine .... what computer ?
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

This machine?
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmar ... ducts.html

If so then SleepyHead won't work with that brand machine. SleepyHead only works with ResMed, Phillips Respironics, DeVilbiss and Fischer & Paykel machines.

I have no idea how to get the software that machine needs.
There is some information about using some codes on the product page at the above link.

So sorry but that machine isn't ResMed or Respironics even though it sort of tried to use the sneaky name to make people think it was. If I remember right it was a cheap knock off from China.

The only number I can find on the bottom is a sticker that has AJD14681331. Is that what you need?

Pugsy, Yes, that is the machine and Thank You so much for the information. I will be calling my supplier tomorrow. I really thought it was from the ResMed line. How decieving.

I would be having smoke coming out of my ears if I had been misled like this.
They would be giving me EXACTLY what I want or they would be getting the machine back and no further business from me.
Usually the threat of "well, if you won't give me what I want then I will go elsewhere...so and so already told me that they would" is enough for the DME to back peddle.
Be prepared...find out from your insurance company what other DMEs might be in network...and I hope your insurance isn't Medicare and you live in a competitive bidding location.
More on that if that happens to be what you have.

Personally...if it were me I would be so mad I would go elsewhere anyway... I don't like being lied to even if someone wants to fix it later. I have been known to cut off my nose to spite my face. Just for principle.

Even if they will swap it out for what you want...I suspect you thought you were getting the ResMed S9 AutoSet...I think I would still take any future mask and accessory business elsewhere if at all possible.

As you can tell.....I am a newbie. When I was ask what software my machine uses, I thought he meant computer software. Now after my aunt taking me by the hand and telling me which articles to read, I finally understand. And Yes, I was looking at it all wrong. I thought I had to take what they gave me and now I see that they are asking for my business and its all up to me to decide (with insurance approval) what I want. Well..... my attitude has changed a whole lot. I'm a little bit educated now
