Hi Joan,
Maybe someone can let you know about some of the aution sites that are out there for used Cpaps. I have seen a few around, but I have no experience with them.
I am glad that you are getting another Cpap to replace the one you have, as this is very important to help prevent many health problems. It is a real bear trying to get used to the Cpap, it took me almost 3 years!
You didn't state in your post when you got your cpap. I just want to caution you that if you got it through your insurance, my understanding is they tend to wait 3-5 years before paying for another one. So if you are going through insurance and it hasn't been that long, you might want to check out if they are going to cover you for it. Just because you have a script doesn't mean they will give it to you, and I don't want you to find out later, that you sold yours and can't get another one.
Good Luck

Mike

Many folks here would love to get an Auto 25, it is considered an excellent machine. So when it was said -
joannemsmith wrote:Thanks for your concern, he is in the process of getting a different one, a better one.
I am alway skeptical of people who come here just to sell (esp. on their very 1st post) but I couldn't help but wonder which machine is better?
GumbyCT wrote:Care to share which machine is better than a bilevel auto?
I thought I would learn something and I may have but I hope others have too.

I hope they saw how the yarn began to spin.
joannesmith wrote:I believe he will be getting a ResMed's new S9 AutoSet Auto CPAP and H5i integrated heated humidifier with optional ClimateLine Heated tubing.
I don't think I am ready to say that an S9 auto is better than a bilevel. To me a bilevel is the "Ultimate in Exhale Relief" and going to a cpap auto would be a step down.
joannesmith wrote:my husband's DR will be prescribing this one for him to use.
He didn't yet? But "he" is letting this machine go? For $800 firm.
Pugsy wrote:Do you by chance have the ResScan card reader with the machine? It is expensive plus hard to find and is needed to use the software.

You can check with http://www.secondwindcpap.com/ as they buy and sell used machines.
Then this revelation -
joannesmith wrote:Yes, the card comes with it, I have gone to the website, we paid close to $2000 for the machine and they would pay less than $300. IDK
Your insurance may have been "billed" $2k but I doubt they paid $2k or that you paid out-of-pocket. So this machine may not even be yours to sell yet. Unless it was aquired another way and then you found that you can't sell it on Ebay?

So it is as always "Buyer BEWARE".

3) I am a member of PayPal and I will only accept payment from Other PayPal members. In that case you will be under PayPal's Buyer Protection Program and if you don't receive the item or if it is not what I have said it is then you can file a claim with them to get your money back. Also, when paying with PayPal, use a credit card which gives you one more way to get your money back.
While I do agree that Paypal is a good way to handle remote transactions, I will say that I have won a Paypal Dispute, hands down, BUT I never collected a dime of my money....so what good is that?
FoxNewsFan wrote:There are so many scams out there that I'm sure you understand why people are very cautious
All this story telling and shouting back makes me think this is the same person who has been here before trying to sell equipment at outrageous prices.

I would be cautious of any story that doesn't make sense. Like buying a used car it may not look like the ad says.

My husband is no longer using his ResMed Auto 25 device, he used it for 1 month and it has about 100 hours of use on it. We want to sell it for $800, it is in excellent condition and I hope that maybe this post will get me some replies. We reside in Central Oregon (Prineville) but will ship anywhere.

If I am going about this wrong I would so appreciate some feedback as I am very new to this website. I will include my phone number if anyone is interested and replies to my post.

Thanks again.

Please call me at 917-721-0293. Thanks!! Juan

You are asking about a machine that was posted over 3 years ago...that machine and the person offering it are long gone.
They won't see your request.
There was someone who just yesterday offered a S9 VPAP Auto...take a look on either page 1 or 2 of the forum for that post.
