What to do with a NEW ResMed S9 AutoSet
What to do with a NEW ResMed S9 AutoSet
Because of the insurance debacle I recently went through. I ended up purchasing a new ResMed S9 AutoSet on my own and now my insurance provided me with one (0 hours). Should I just store the new machine for a few years for a backup...if so by the time I get around to use it the warranty would be over. Maybe swap out machines every other month.....What to do? Suggestions?

You will have to use the insurance provided machine to prove compliance or you will have to pay for that one too. Use your other machine for travel, for a backup, or in another room for naps etc.fdw wrote:Because of the insurance debacle I recently went through. I rather doubt that they'll be checking serial numbers for compliance... though, it's possible.Guest wrote:You will have to use the insurance provided machine to prove compliance or you will have to pay for that one too. You can never have too many spare machines!
But, IF you have to prove compliance on the one that the insurance provided, then I would advise using that one for as long as the compliance period runs. Then, alternate them (if you so choose) and see if there's any difference in their data reporting. Or, use one for travel, etc.

Stick with the insurance machine for your normal usage. There's really no reason to swap. Fire up the other one every so often. If you nap somewhere other than bed, you could put the spare machine there.
