I won't go into how annoyed I am with most of the legit softwares and updates adding crap to my computer.
Highly annoying...case in point the Flash Player updates which we all get fairly often...and I don't let them install automatically because it will sneak in McAfee crap (at least I think it is McAfee) with the update. Even manually updating I have to look closely at what it tells me that it is doing. Why do they persist in bundling in all this crap in an attempt help me...I don't want that help...if I did I would go get it.

The problem with most people is they don't look or they just blindly allow automatic updates for even the supposedly benign Flash Player and then they get toolbars they don't like or security crap they didn't ask for. Even legit programs can be highly annoying.

But you know some people are doing good to just get the computer up and running and open their emails...

There's a reason I don't offer support for Pro anymore...it's too much work for a POS software when there is a viable alternative that people can use that doesn't come with the headaches and hassles and the reports are the same...nothing is lost but the headaches and hassles. No brainer IMHO.
But if people want to struggle with it...that's their choice. If I was sitting in front of their computer I might be able to make Pro work but I sure can't do it from here and I don't ever want to go the remote control road. I don't want that responsibility.

Now for some people Pro works flawlessly....so far it has for me on this computer.
It was my old computer where I had my initial struggles with Pro and learned a lot from my mistakes.
I rarely open Pro now. I keep it just in case I need to refresh my memory on something in there for someone who maybe has no choice but to use it.
But with Basic and SleepyHead now supporting the 960 models and Windows 8.1 or older...there's zero need for Pro to even be on a computer.
