F&P Icon Auto?

Newbie here - just got my RX for a F&P Icon Auto, pressure set at 12, with a ResMed N10 nasal mask.

Before I go pick up a machine, I want to make sure I don't want to ask for something different. I had originally expected to get a ResMed and had done all my research on that and was going to ask for the S9 Auto. Now that F&P has come up, I don't know if that's good or not.

My main questions are:
1. Does anyone have any thoughts on this machine?
2. Does this work with Sleepyhead? I didn't see it on the list on the Sleepyhead website, but thought I'd see if anyone knew
3. The lady I talked to from the DME says that it will show my AHI & leak rate on the machine itself. Is that good enough or do I want to push for something that works with Sleepyhead software?

You will not be able to use Sleepyhead software to monitor your progress with that machine. I would try to get a ResMed Autoset rather than the Icon Auto.

I hope you were going to ask for the S9 Autoset. There's another "Escape Auto" that only gives marginal data.

Why are you letting them try to push something else on you?

The F & P Icon Auto (and the newer model with the Plus sign after it) are now compatible with SleepyHead.
The official F & P software is also available but it's a real big PITA to install and use. A DME that I know quit selling F & P machines just because of the PITA InfoSmart software.
ResMed would be my personal preference over the 2 machines but the Icon will get the job done.
I don't know if it flags centrals or not....can't remember.
The data collected isn't quite as comprehensive as the ResMed S9 data but all the main important stuff is available...leak, AHI, event categories as long as it offers centrals separately and I just can't remember that detail.
Not sure about flow rate which can come in handy at times but isn't the end of the world if we don't have it.

Oh...for future reference if you get the Icon...large leak territory begins at 60 L/min.
