What does this all mean?

Post by Saya » Tue Sep 23, 2014 3:52 pm

I have my first appointment tmr with the sleep clinic for adjustments and im assuming to read that sd card. I tried the sleepmapper to see for myself and it won't show any data. Im just curious as to how im doing so far. Anyone know what these mean, i looked it up directly on my machine? Iv only had it for 4th nights, still getting use to it. To me its going good (apart of having a major cold and not able to use it 100% of the time just yet) what do you see?

therapy hours:
1 day: 2:24
7 day: 5:18
30 day : 5:18

Large Leak
o% (for both 1, 7 30 day)

AHI
1 day : 1.7
7 day: 2.7
30 day: 2.7

Periodic Breathing
1 day : 0%
7 day: 2%

90% pressure:
1 day : 5.0
7 day 7.1
30 day: 7.1

you get *tons* more data with sleepyhead (sleepfiles.com/SH) and it's *free*!

read the first post in the annoucements section here for lots of tips about it.

i tried to download sleepyhead then got lost, il try it again, soo much graphs and data eik. Im afraid if i know too much il be obssesed about it lol I was just wondering if 'so far' with the little i had it on, if it seems to be working. The therapist told me i might need a bipap instead of a cpap because my apnea was severe. I'm curious (and scared) that tmr she tells me its not working. Althought the way i feel is much better (apart of being sick with a cold).

Well, your AHI is good. They like the number to be less than 5, yours was less than 5 on each night. On my third night, my AHI was wa-a-ay up there in double digits and well over 10, so your therapy is working, but we can't see the details without Sleepyhead. It's a good software for figuring out some of the problems we face, and gives more detailed information than what your machine gives you.

You can control what you see in SleepyHead by turning off graphs you don't want to see.

First, you can reduce the calendar so that it doesn't use so much space.

Then by using File -> Preferences

Image

You can unclick a number of graphs to just show some basic ones (I'm sure someone might come up with a better list as I just started to use this).. Below is what I have checked right now...

The preferences will keep so that each time you use the program, it will use the same graphs. The reducing the Calendar unfortunately doesn't get remembered, but you can easily just reduce it each time you run the program.
Current Settings PS 4.0 over 10.6-18.0 (cmH2O) - Resmed S9 VPAP Auto w/h5i Humidifier - Quattro Air FFM
TNET Sleep Resource Pages - CPAP Machine Database
Put your equip in your Signature - SleepyHead v1.0.0-beta-1
