Resmed Escape S8 with HumidAire 3i
sn 20070141279
Motor Hours 200
Used Hours 40
It has been packaged in the blue case ever since I bought it a couple years ago because I went to a bipap. It's almost brand new. Includes Resmed Escape S8, HumidAire 3i, power cord, both manuals and nice case. I could separate is someone needs one or the other.
$200

I hate to burst your bubble, but $50.00 might be stretching it. Doesn't matter how "almost brand new" it is, it's an old, non-data-capable machine.

If you advertise on CL, you might get a sucker, but unless that happens, expect to come down a lot.
You might consider donating it if you can find an organization that will take it.

If you contact secondwindcpap.com you may get up to $100 and they will pay shipping. They sell an Escape II for $239.

Thank you LSAT, and congrats as being the only reasonable reply thus far that didn't possess the verbage necessary to be considered pretentious. It appears that some here might have 1. a good supply of money and/or 2. grand insurance or 3. the government is taking good care of them with our vast offerings of social welfare. This is not the case with many that believe in self reliance and freedom from a government that wants to buy your heart and soul. Some here have purchase all their equipment with hard earned cash, without any help from 2 or 3 above which leads me to the next paragraph, lol.

We used to have some "non" profit organizations here in town that accepted cpap machines, but the medical equipment gestapo has been quite effective in shutting down used medical supplies from the main stream. I disagree with the tactics and government regulations used by our medical lobbies through our government upon the public in regards to control, access, costs, price fixing, and government sponsored monopolies in our free market (LOL) system.

So, with that said, and armed with the knowledge and concept of friend or foe, I render my humble opinion. This unit as described has a true end value to the consumer of $150-$200. For others that are blessed with 1-3 above, it has little to no value. As you have probably surmised, I've refused to sell my soul to access 2-3 above thus far. 1 above, I am still working on. And while not looking for a sucker to "unload" this equipment on as suggested, I realize some, like me, don't need or use the data portion, thus making this the perfect machine for some for an effective cpap experience.

Friend or Foe?

You're delusional.

Between 2010 and the early part of 2012, I purchased FIVE FULLY-DATA-CAPABLE machines with humidifiers, out-of-pocket (as I have with all but my first machine).
Three were virtually unused.....10 blower hours or less. I never paid over $165.00 for any of them and the two with a few more hours on them were right at $25.00 each (all included shipping).
And, they are all about the same vintage as yours.....and all but two had fewer hours.

There are a huge number of machines which are cycled out of hospitals periodically and auctioned off in large lots (some are lightly used and others have a number of hours on them). They're fully-data-capable machines and when they hit the market (if one knows where to look) they're extremely cheap to buy.
