ResScan 5.1 is available and is compatible with the new AirSense machines.
SleepyHead is not yet compatible but Mark is working on it now.

A handful of people here have just got one of the AirSense machines. Less than a month released so not many people have had a chance to get these new models.
A few threads about it last couple of weeks.

Thanks, looks like I'm outdate!!! My ResScan is 3. How easy is it to get the ResScan software? Is the Data similar to previous versions? Does it require special reader to download data? .................feel like I'm starting over again Thanks!!!

These new machines...S9 and the AirSense use a little SD card for data storage. If your computer has a slot for a SD card then you don't need anything else to use the software. If your computer doesn't have a SD card slot then all you need is a cheap generic card reader/adapter so you can utilize one of the USB ports on the computer.
The reports are pretty much unchanged but these new machines gather additional data that the pre S9 machines didn't gather.
The even newer data that the AirSense gathers was discussed in the AirSense release thread.

Easy to obtain the software. This will explain how.

Be aware that the software from Resmed is PC only, no Mac.

Thanks Pugsy & bwexler. Think, I'II check into getting this machine. Have a PC with reader so data shouldn't be an issue. Sent insurance email to request criteria for coverage for new machine hopefully not issue since have had current APAP 6 years. My MD is a Respironics man but likes I bring him data. He pointed out if I want new machine to let him know. Big hurdle may be finding ResMed DME provider here, apparently ResMed sales representative are not responsive in area I live and Respironics florish!!!!.....hard to believe it's already been 6 years since started APAP.

.............. and I have gotten a new feline family since then too!!!!

Thanks again!!!

I just got the Airsense 10 Autoset on Thursday and so far so good, its not the 'For Her' version however. I am coming from an S8 so big difference in style. First night AHI was 0.2 and last night it was 0.0 , I had never seen a 0.0 with my S8. I am also using the latest version of Rescan, I had been using a version from 2009. Will give Sleepyhead a try when its ready for the Airsense 10.

There are the usual concerns about problems with a new model.

From what I've heard so far, I'd probably go with the A10 vs. the S9 by a small margin. I expect that with more experience we'll conclude it's a small but worthwhile improvement over the S9.

SleepyHead doesn't do A10 in the current public release, but expect that to change within a month or two. We don't know the ins and outs of the A10 series yet.

Get the for her model. It does all the "for him" functions plus a few more options and detects RERA. You don't have to use it in 4her mode, so there's no downside other than the looks.

Using my Airsense for 3 weeks now - had the Respironics system one.

It is much smaller, lighter and quieter than the Respironics. I find no issues with built in humidifier.

Really like the machine.

I've been using my new AirSense AutoSet for a couple of weeks now, didn't get the for her version though just the regular one.

So far very happy with it, no problems with the humidifier being built in, smaller footprint and it seems a little quieter than the S9. Few little things I think could be better for me but they are not a big deal and are just things like the size of the dial and the brightness of the LCD screen being auto adjusted depending on the ambient light of the room. Not deal breakers but things that would make it easier for me!

Newbie here. I was all set to get the AirSense 4her until reading this. Not sure how I missed this. This might just be a deal breaker .
Are there /will there soon be any options for resmed & Mac?

Also, how is local availability for the 4 her? I went to pick mine up today and they had the regular version waiting for me. They had never heard of the for her.

I doubt that ResScan will ever have a Mac version. ResMed has had more than ample time to offer a Mac version but since DMEs and doctors (who ResScan is designed for) don't use Macs....it's unlikely that a Mac version will ever be available.
ResScan can be used on a Mac if a person installs some sort of virtual Windows on the Mac like with Bootcamp or Parallel.
SleepyHead will very soon have a version that is compatible with the AirSense machines. It's being worked on right now.

Glad somebody got their Airsense 10 Autoset for Her
I'm still waiting--maybe the middle of next month. How can ResMed be so far behind demand?
Maybe they have a huge warehouse full of escapes, (wouldn't surprise me)
Got a match?
