Just posted a review on the "Hose Boss" from the Sleep Guy on Amazon. Love it! Included a video on how I rigged it up on my unit.

wow--that's very clever on so many levels...First, never thought to use it like that, horizontally. It would never have occurred to me. And I'm a pretty clever guy. Second, the doll with the mask is awesome. Great video review!

I've been one who didn't feel I would gain much from hose management. The hose just lays across the back of my pillow and all I had to do most nights was flip it when I flipped. Not a big deal when the wakeups are few, but some nights I may change sides dozens of times. Lately I'd been feeling rather aggravated at that daggone hose. Why after all these years was it now an issue getting it to just lay there without falling and tugging? Anyhow, when Bret offered this opportunity to trial some products, I tried his hose management gizmo and I have to say, I feel set free! What I once thought was no big deal turned out to be significant. Thanks for the reminder about posting a review. I got a free product that I am using and benefiting from, so I'm reminded that the very least I can do is leave a review.

The culture of online reviews is that nearly everybody is ready to speak out when they aren't satisfied, but so few take the time to say they are satisfied. The system can be hard for an online vendor, where the site they carry their product on weighs heavily against the vendor. Amazon is one of those stores that (in the past at least) make it difficult to stay in business. They will shut down a store's sales and freeze their monies over the percentage of negative feedback, and few sellers can afford to have their monies frozen for weeks or months while they appeal the action. A family member's store was penalized like that when an invalid negative feedback pushed them over the limit. Never mind the feedback was about a product they didn't even sell - the customer had got confused when purchasing from multiple stores and left their comments on the wrong company. A prior feedback was from an apparent shuckster who habitually manipulated the system to bully the vendor into giving them duplicate product to shut them up. Never mind the store had hundreds upon hundreds of apparently satisfied customers who had gone merrily along their way, yet the monies from those satisfied customers was held back from the vendor due to some bogus feedback. Ok, off my soapbox now. Writing "leave feedback/review" on my to-do list.

Yeah, I tried it too and it works as described by the manufacturer (Bret at Pur-Sleep, a member of this forum). I didn't want to stick it on the wall above my head because I had a nearby hook available, therefore had to modify the upper hanger a little bit - no big deal though. The horizontal idea is clever, that never occurred to me! I don't think I'd want to attach it to my machine, but I'd try it on a nearby flat surface like a table surface. One of the other reviewers was right: a quick release would be a nice addition. But still, a great solution for hose routing problems for not very much money!

I took a screwdriver and opened up the hook just enough to be able to pull the metal ring off with a click so that I can remove it every morning and keep the velcro attached to the hose when I hang it up.
The plastic tab placed so that it is perpendicular to the front of my machine with the opening of the hook away from my face. If I pull on it toward my pillow it just keeps it in the hook I have to push it away from my pillow to unhook.
