Any ideas on which brand? Thanks
Yes. One that has been on the shelf for a while. MoM gets thicker as the water in it evaporates. You might try leaving the cap off for a day, then putting the cap back on and shake vigorously.

In any event, even when it is thin it should still work. Smear a layer onto your skin, then pick up the hair dryer and blow it dry (on a cold setting).

Hello,
I have a very bad allergy around my eyes. This started a few days after starting to use the ResMed newest machine. Yesterday I thought the allergy was due to having ingested daily pills of high dosage Biotin, but now that I have read posts on ResMed allergic reactions, I see that my allergy is due to the mask. It is a small nasal, soft mask on my nose held on by plastic straps. The redness and itchiness is around my eyes, not on the rest of my face - yet. I have the pads for the straps and have used cotton pads more extra padding. I have tried kleenex tissues for padding a larger area. Today I am much worse.
This is a terrible quandary!! Please help! I will try milk of magnesia, I will try cotton fabric to cover a larger area.
Also, I must wake up numerous times a night to drink water as my throat and mouth are parched. I was thinking of buying a plastic tubing at a medical supply store so that I could create a sort of long straw that would go from the bottle by my bed (in a box) and be taped to my night shirt so I can sip water without the hassle of waking, opening the bottle, drinking, capping it, etc.
A chin strap is my next option.
I am sooooo unhappy at present!
thank you for reading this complaint.

if you go back and read this thread from the beginning, you'll see that they were talking about contact dermatitis, where they were getting a reaction where the mask is touching their skin.

this is different from what you've stated your problem is.
