HA, Crapria sent me money!

Post by Janknitz » Tue Sep 16, 2014 3:14 pm

Earlier this year I filed a complaint against Crapria because they kept sending me the wrong stuff and billing me for it. I needed a replacement humidifier, they sent me a humidifier chamber I didn't need, and when they corrected THAT by sending me a new humidifier unit it was the wrong one. Then the sent the right one with a new chamber, and tried to bill me for ALL of that. While we were on the phone with those things they offered to send me a replacement hose. I told them for the 100th time (at least) that I didn't want their hoses because they always sent the standard hose and I want a performance hose. Oh, no, they assured me they were going to send me the performance hose, but they sent the standard again.

So when I opened the complaint with Kaiser, they finally got the hose thing straightened out, but kept billing me for stuff I didn't want (and they wouldn't take back, BTW). They told Kaiser "looky, she's getting all this stuff (I didn't want) for free)", but they were billing me. In the end, most of it was straightened out, but there was still a bill of $36 too much. I tried calling them, they said call Kaiser, Kaiser said call Crapria, and I work full time. No time to sit on the phone arguing with idiots after surviving voice mail trees and endless recordings about how my health is important to them (NOT!!!). I waited until they were threatening collections and paid the &^^%$# bill, just because it was not worth another second of my time to deal with this--I was several hours in at that point.

Imagine my surprise yesterday when I got a check for the overpayment! Miracles do happen.

Oh, and the humidifier is STILL not working. Kaiser tells me I have to take it IN to Crapria for repair. NOT going to happen in my lifetime, I've got better things to do.

Thanks for sharing that.
And, yet another story and reason I'm so glad I avoided the brick & mortar DMEs.

Now if they would just compensate you for your time and hassle... oh, never mind.
