Respironics wheez, asthmatic machine?

Post by Islandwoman » Tue Sep 16, 2014 2:49 pm

I have had my Respironics 560 apap/cpap machine since Last November. It has started Wheezing on inhale, exhale or both on different occasions . I separated the blower and the humidifier and reconnected which seems to have made a small difference. It still belongs to Apria(rental to Medicare to me) so I don't want to mess with it but in never made a peep before.
After a fifteen minute wait on the phone after calling Apria. I called another number and got through to a central sort of Apria in Arizona, I am in Seattle area. She set up a call from my local office but so far nothing Though I asked for my original tech who was great.
After reading several posts. I see there are connectors offered on cpap.com. If I give up on Apria could one of these solve the wheeze?
I saw them suggested for a leak but not in a another post about wheezing. Have they helped anyone else?
